Vestal Youth Football League

The Vestal Youth Football League was originally founded in 1971 and provides Vestal youth with the opportunity to participate in a travel Football and Cheer program. As a member of the Southern Tier Youth Football Conference (STYFC), our teams have consistently competed at a high level.
The STYFC has moved from an age registration to a grade-level registration for football. The grade your child is entering in September will determine which division they play in.
Divisions:
Division A (Tackle) - 5th/6th Grade
Division B (Tackle) - 3rd/4th Grade
Division C (Flag) - 1st/2nd Grade
All football practices are held at Arnold Park in Vestal, starting the first week of August. Practices are three days per week, typically from 6-8pm in the summer, transitioning to 5:30-7:30pm in late September. Continuing since the 2016 season, all home football games are held at Dick Hoover Stadium on Sundays.
Cheer is comprised of 3 divisions:
Division A - 5th/6th Grade
Division B - 3rd/4th Grade
Division C - 1st/2nd Grade
Practices are typically held at Arnold Park starting late July or early August with practices moving indoors once the weather becomes cooler. Teams perform during football games and at competitions.
