Our League

The mission of Vestal Youth Football and Cheer is to create an amazing, exciting environment & experience where young athletes and their families can have fun, develop and grow in their sport while being encouraged to value family, "the team", friendship, scholastics, sportsmanship, and competition in a safe, supportive, positive yet structured environment.

Fundamental athletic and football skills are emphasized as is the benefit of active participation, the power of the "team experience" to move athletes toward academic and lifelong success.

The Vestal Youth Football League is focused to provide flag (very limited contact), full contact tackle football and cheer experiences for athletes that reside in the Town of Vestal and in the Vestal Central School District.

Unfortunately, VYFL no longer grants any scholarships. We do recommend taking advantage of the cost savings associated with early registration.

The Vestal Youth Football League (football and cheer) strives to inspire young people and their families regardless of race, creed or national origin to embrace and instill lifelong values and the ideals of sportsmanship, friendship, scholarship, service and a dedication to lifelong physical fitness.
