Football Program Overview
We are excited to be a part of the Southern Tier Youth Football Conference (STYFC). STYFC is the premier youth football league in upstate New York. STYFC is comprised of teams from Broome, Tioga, Schuyler, and Chenango Counties in New York and Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. STYFC has four divisions based on grade:
A Division - 5th and 6th Grade
B Division - 3rd and 4th Grade
C Division - 1st and 2nd Grade (Flag Football)
Flag Lower - Pre-K and Kindergarten (Flag Football)
STYFC strives to instill sportsmanship, teamwork and integrity within all children that participate in our program.
- 20 Local Teams with divisions that will allow us to continue our traditional rivalries
- 7 regular season games plus playoffs (Sunday Games)
- Mandatory Heads Up/USA Football Certification for all coaches
STYFC DIVISIONS:
- East Division A: Montrose, Chenango Forks #1, Susquehanna Valley, Blue Ridge, Susquehanna PA, Windsor
- West Division A: Tioga, Schuyler County, Candor, Owego, Spencer-Van Etten
- East Division B: ME Blue, Chenango Valley, Union Endicot, Johnson City, Whitney Point, Vestal #1(White)
- West Division B: Chenango Forks #2, Apalachin, Vestal #2(Green), Newark Valley, ME White

About Us
The VYFL is dedicated to teaching the art and science of football to the young men and women of Vestal, while maintaining a fun and motivating environment that will teach children Sportsmanship, Communication, Camaraderie, Teamwork, Discipline, and Work Ethic.
